16 ʻAukake 2021<br><br>Good morning to all the ʻohana Nāwahī! Welcome back to the 7th and 8th graders who are returning to campus today and the 9th through 12th graders continuing in-person. Let\'s continue to work together to keep our campus safe and continue to seek knowledge and wisdom. We are so happy to be back in-person this school year. Aloha!<br>

Given the present state of uncertainty in regards to our community’s health and welfare due to COVID19, Nāwahī will utilize distance learning from Kindergarten through grade 12. Although as a Hawaiian language medium school, Nāwahī is not designed for exclusive distance learning, we are nonetheless, pivioting to make the adjustments necessary to work with the ʻohana in delivering Hawaiian language medium education for students on a distance learning platform. Distance learning will continue through the first quarter of the school year, not just for the first four weeks. We will be alert to changes over time, and teachers will be in communication with families. Uploaded Aug 12, 2020We remain strong in these challenging times, and continue to see the benefits of coming forward to care for our Nāwahī program and families.<br><br>We will continue to distribute produce from the māla when classes are scheduled to pick up learning materials at the piko. This week, fruit and vegetable snacks will be distributed by family at those scheduled times. A student representing an individual family must be in the car in order to receive the snacks.<br><br>
