Our school is getting free meals for all students Kindergarten to 8th grade as part of the National School Lunch Program (NSLP) and School Breakfast Program (SBP) through a choice for schools called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP). We will no longer be collecting Free and Reduced-Price Meal Applications every year, instead, we must collect the CEP Family Household Survey. This form helps us collect household information for all students attending CEP schools. Parents are encouraged to complete the CEP Family Household Survey in order to qualify for any additional assistance when they become available. Although we participate in the DOE school breakfast and lunch program, the school will continue to implement special initiatives that affect improved nutrition at Nāwahīokalaniʻōpuʻu. If you choose to make home lunch for your child, please be sure that it is satisfying and nutritious.
For all students wanting breakfast, they will proceed to the cafeteria for pick up before school. Students will order lunch with their Kumu ʻUo Mamo at the classroom daily.
