Aloha pumehana kākou! My name is Keolamau Dacayanan and I am from Hilo, Hawaiʻi. I am an ʻUo Mamo teacher for the 8th grade class and I also teach hula, business, and fine & performing arts from 7th through 9th grade. I received my bachelor’s degree in Hawaiian Studies from Hawaiʻinuiākea School of Hawaiian Knowledge at UH Mānoa, and following I received my teaching certificate through Kahuawaiola. It is truly a blessing to be able to educate the next generation of Hawaiʻi through the Hawaiian language.
