Aloha mai kākou, my name is Kalāokahaku Akima-Akau, I live in the beautiful place of my husbandʻs ancestors, Kawaihae. I have three keiki and two grandchildren. I am a teacher at ʻAlo Kēhau o Ka ʻĀina Mauna, started my teaching here in 2012. This year I am teaching grades four through six. I also teach math and other subject areas along with Kumu Leialoha to grade two and three.
