Greetings to all! I am Naupaka Joaquin from Pukalani, Maui. I teach the First Grade class and am committed to sharing/teaching language skills to our youngsters within our Hawaiian medium community culture. I have one child who also attends Nāwahī and my family is a great supporter of language revitalization efforts. Lifetime learning is real, and so what that I find myself continuing to expand my knowledge as a student of Ka Haka ʻUla ʻo Keʻelikōlani where I am pursuing my doctoral studies.
