Aloha mai kākou!

My name is Kalāmanamana Kaʻaimahuʻi Nālehuaolīhau Hihiʻo Harman and I’m the eldest child of Kekoa and Pelehonuamea Harman. My Father, Kekoa, is from the island of Maui and my mother, Pelehonuamea, is from Oʻahu but her family is originally from Kaʻū, Hawaiʻi, and Haʻikū on the island of Maui. I was born in Hilo in 2001 however I now live in Keaʻau, Puna on the island of Hawaiʻi. I have three siblings: Kaumualiʻi, Nāliʻipōʻaimoku, and Hiʻiakaokawenaʻulaikalani. I graduated from the Pūnana Leo o Hilo (2006) and Ke Kula ʻo Nāwahīokalaniʻōpuʻu (2019) and am currently studying at Dartmouth College. While at Nāwahī, I enjoyed learning the Japanese language with Pilialoha Sensei so I’m continuing to study Japanese in college. I hope to support the students of Nāwahī by teaching them the Japanese language and to appreciate different languages and cultures.
